Or in this case, the outfit for the clothes! Let's be honest, how many of us reach for the same "outfit every single day? The one that will "just do" or the one that you don't have to put much thought into because you can't actually see what you have even though your poor wardrobe is bursting!! And what feeling do you get from wearing those clothes? Do they uplift you, give you a spring in your step, help you walk into a room with confidence? Or do they make you feel a bit "meh", make you blend into the background and ingrain that feeling of being more invisible than you already feel? I'm sure we have all been there at one point or another in our lives!

It's always at this time of year, as we transition from our autumn/winter wardrobe to our spring/summer wardrobe, that we get a better look at our wardrobe and it's contents to make apparent our lack of or abundance of clothes......but yet still nothing to wear. Nothing shows up more when you are trying to find something to wear because the sun has made an appearance!

In recent weeks I have been busy visiting clients to help them sort out their wardrobes. Time and time again I hear "I have a wardrobe full of clothes but nothing to wear". This can be for many reasons but most of the time it comes down to these things:

  • Not understanding what colours they look their best in

  • Not understanding what styles suit their body shape and proportions

  • Not understanding what fabrics/patterns work best for them

  • Not understanding how to dress for their style personality

  • Buying duplicates of what they already have (who needs 8 black jumpers anyway?!! lol!)

There's no point sorting out your wardrobe if all you are going to do is repeat all of the above in the following season..... but if you took the time and invested in learning all about you and the styles and colours that suit you, together we can curate a wardrobe of clothes that work for you whilst also removing the stress you feel when choosing the day's outfit.

My top tips for curating a wardrobe that works for you:

  • Know your best shades of colour. You will look instantly radiant, smoothing your complexion and help your eyes twinkle even brighter

  • Understand what styles suit your body shape/proportions

  • Understand which fabrics/patterns work for you

  • Understand your style personality. This helps you to shop in the right places so you buy only what works for you and avoids overwhelm.

  • Buy key pieces for your wardrobe so you can mix and match. You will buy less and wear more often.

So on that note, I am off to sort out my wardrobes (dressing room) and live in hope that the sun will become more of permanent feature in the days ahead.

If you need help curating a wardrobe that works for you please get in touch with me and let me help you. I will remove the overwhelm and leave you with a wardrobe of clothes that excite you and make you feel happy and confident (and a shopping list of what you need to add,if applicable).

There’s a moment many women experience — often quietly, unexpectedly. It might come as you approach your 40th, 50th, or 60th birthday. It might arrive after a big life event: a new chapter in your career, your children becoming more independent, or a personal turning point.

You catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror — really see yourself — and wonder:

“Do I still recognise the woman looking back at me?”

I’ve worked with hundreds of incredible women over the years, helping them feel confident, empowered, and truly seen. And time after time, I’ve noticed something special: milestone birthdays tend to awaken a deep, honest desire. Not just to look better — but to feel more like yourself again.

And it always starts with one powerful decision:

To invest in yourself.

Why Milestones Stir Something Within Us

Turning 40, 50 or 60 isn’t just about the candles on a cake. These milestones often come with reflection — on who you’ve been, what you’ve given, and what you may have put on hold.

Many of my clients tell me:

“I’ve spent so long taking care of everyone else… I forgot to take care of myself.”

Sound familiar?

This isn’t just about clothes. It’s about identity. Expression. Self-respect. When your wardrobe no longer matches the woman you’ve become, it can feel disorienting. But it can also be a beautiful opportunity — to reconnect, to realign, and to rediscover your sense of self through style.

What You See Should Reflect How You Feel

You deserve more than just “making do” or feeling invisible. You deserve to feel proud of your reflection — not because it’s perfect, but because it feels authentic.

Working with a personal stylist isn’t about changing who you are. It’s about making sure the outside matches the powerful, passionate, intelligent woman you are on the inside.

Whether it’s a wardrobe refresh, a new signature look, or simply learning what flatters your figure and lifestyle today — this is your moment to take ownership of how you show up in the world.

Style is Not Vanity — It’s Self-Respect

When you feel good in your clothes, everything changes. You carry yourself differently. You speak up. You walk into rooms with presence. You see yourself — maybe for the first time in years.

And trust me: when that happens, everyone else sees it too.

That’s not superficial. That’s transformation.

Your Milestone is Your Invitation

So if you’re celebrating a significant birthday or stepping into a new season of life — take it as the beautiful sign that it is. This is your invitation to:

  • Reconnect with your style

  • Rediscover your confidence

  • And invest in you

You’ve done so much for others. Now it’s time to do something for yourself.

You’re not becoming someone new — you’re finally coming home to yourself.

Ready to Celebrate You?

If this speaks to where you are in life, I’d love to help guide you through this next chapter with intention, warmth, and expert styling.

Let’s make sure the woman in the mirror reflects the strength, style, and soul that have always been yours.

Style, Confidence & Power in Perimenopause: Why You Deserve to Feel Incredible Now More Than Ever

As an award-winning personal stylist, I've had the privilege of working with women through every life stage—but there's something especially powerful about guiding women through the journey of perimenopause. This phase is often misunderstood, and while it comes with its challenges—shifting hormones, changing body shapes, evolving identities—it also presents a profound opportunity: the chance to redefine how you show up in the world.

Here’s what my styling services offer—and why they matter now more than ever:

1. Rediscover Your Shape, Reclaim Your Power

Your body is changing, and that’s not something to hide—it’s something to embrace. Together, we’ll find silhouettes, fabrics, and cuts that complement the woman you are today. The goal isn’t to “dress like you used to”—it’s to elevate how you feel now. The result? You’ll stop fighting your wardrobe and start loving the reflection in the mirror.

2. Confidence That Starts with Clothing and Spreads Everywhere

When you feel aligned in your personal style, you radiate confidence. Whether you're walking into a meeting, going on a date, or simply running errands, there's a quiet but undeniable shift in how you carry yourself. Clients often tell me their posture improves, their smile widens, and they feel more seen. That’s the power of dressing with intention.

3. Simplify Your Wardrobe, Amplify Your Style

Perimenopause often brings mental fatigue—and decision fatigue is real. A curated wardrobe means fewer choices, less stress, and more joy getting dressed each day. I help streamline your style so that every piece in your closet works for you, not against you.

4. Support Beyond the Surface

Styling is about more than clothes. It’s about identity, evolution, and empowerment. In our work together, I hold space for the emotional side of style—the confidence dips, the self-image shifts, and the uncertainty. I’ve been there with clients, and I understand that sometimes the hardest part isn’t finding the right jeans—it’s giving yourself permission to feel beautiful in them.

5. Dress for the Life You Have and the Life You’re Creating

You’re not shrinking—you’re expanding. Your style should reflect that. Whether you’re stepping into a new career phase, redefining relationships, or simply prioritizing yourself for the first time in years, your clothing can help tell that story—authentically, powerfully, unapologetically.

You deserve to feel confident, seen, and radiant—at every age and every stage.

My mission is to help you embrace this chapter with style that celebrates who you are, not who you were. Because when you feel good in your clothes, you show up differently—and the world takes notice.

Let’s redefine beauty and power on your terms. Together.
